I am a researcher in Social Sciences. I worked in different fields such as resilience, urban sustainability, disaster risk reduction, and recently getting into the areas of policy evaluation, impact analysis and social innovation. Every time I do research I look after creating impact in the societies. With a curious mindset, strong analytical skills and a spirit of social responsibility, I believe research should evidence clear connections with communities, be contextually based and promote innovation.

I like discovering new cultures. I always travel to new countries, get to know different societies, understand other ways of thinking, customs, habits and also be amazed by wonderful natural landscapes.

I also dedicate part of my free time to read post-apocalyptic, dystopian and utopian literature, as it brings lot of light to my research: it provides an image of a world in crisis (or right after), it narrates paths and strategies of people to survive, (re)creates memories and innovates. It touches several spheres that are quite connected to our everyday life. Indeed, reading helps me to ideate new, possible solution to real problems.

Education

I have a Ph.D. in Social Sciences and Humanities (University of Ferrara, Italy), a M.Sc. in regional and environmental policies for local development and sustainability (University of Ferrara, Italy) and a B.A. in International Relations (Catholic University of Córdoba, Argentina). Further, I have done two main exchange programmes in Sweden and South Africa as well as several training courses such as European project management, humanitarian response to conflicts and disasters and agroclimatic risks in Latin America.
